I've been waiting ALL week to share this with y'all! Me and my blog BFF, Meg, are hosting a link up and we want you to get excited and link up with us :) Meg texted me with an absolutely brilliant idea...enter: Disposable Diaries!
I couldn't say it any better than Meg did sooo...here you go:
I remember standing at the counter in the grocery store--tippee toes, stretched to their max, wanting desperately to catch a peek of the pouch containing my most precious mementos. Turning in a disposable camera was the most pain staking 2 days of my life as a 10 year old. On the flip side their was not greater joy in life than flipping though the glossy prints documenting the school dance, or field trip or the glorious week at camp.

So my blog BFF Meg, from Sweetly Complicated, and I after discussing our undying OBSESSION with disposable cameras are bringing the disposable camera back.
Yes, you heard me correctly throw your scrunchie in your hair and make sure your Tamgachi is fed, because we are going back to the good old days of disposable camera, in link up form of course!
So here's the the deal:
The week of January 13-20 your mission, if you chose to accept it, is to capture your life via disposable camera. Think of it as pre-historic Instagram! Take pictures of whatever, whoever and where ever you little heart desires all week long and then stand on your tippe-toes and wait for your film to be developed!

On Thursday January 24th link up your favorite pictures of your week in a post with Meg & I!
(so obviously you have to get film developed!)
Here grab the button and then go grab your camera!
(designed by the rockstar diva designer...aka Aubrey)
So remember: take your pictures January 13-20 and link up with your favorite pictures on January 24. We can't wait to see what y'all come up with! So tell me...challenge accepted or what?!

ReplyDeletelove this idea. I have a disposable camera that's been in my dresser for about 9 years now. I took photos when I was moving down here to be with my now, husband. I wonder if the film will still develop? Worth a shot right.
ReplyDeleteI might link up! :)
