Let Me See Those Pearly Whites!

You know something that I think we all take for granted sometimes?
Being comfortable with our smiles.

I mean sure, we don't all have the whitest, straightest teeth
but for the most part when someone says, "SMILE" it doesn't take much
for us to crack one - we don't really have to think twice about it.

Could you imagine if you were uncomfortable with your smile?
Even worse, ashamed of your smile?

What a horrible thought.

Thankfully, there are organizations like Operation Smile
who are committed to helping children love their smile :)

.
"Operation Smile is an international children's medical charity that heals
children's smiles, forever changing their lives.

At Operation Smile, we're more than a charity. More than an NGO.
We're a mobilized force of medical professionals
and caring hearts who provide safe, effective reconstructive surgery
for children born with facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palate."
.

Since 1982, they have been helping fund surgeries for children born with
facial deformities whose families cannot afford it.

HOW AWESOME IS THAT?

And do you want to know what is even more awesome?
You can help!

We all know that while in college buying textbooks is a normal thing.
Well for every book rented from Campus Book Rentals
a portion is donated to Operation Smile.
So you can save money by renting your textbooks AND
help fund a great cause.

Sounds like a win/win to me :)
.

Don't forget to be thankful for your beautiful smile!

Here are a few of my favorite smiles!
Adam (boyfriend) // Brittany (best friend)
Casey (cousin) // Curt (friend)
Granddad // Toy (grandma)

  3. I'm so glad that my parents invested in braces for me, because I KNOW that my smile is my saving grace when it comes to looks! I mean, I would probably smile a lot, anyway, but at least others can enjoy mine too. Ha!

    Say cheese! It's the weekend!

  5. I'm so much more aware of my smile after I broke one of my front teeth, but I am so blessed to have a sweet sweet dentist who came in to the office on Black Friday to fix me up! Even my little incident (which is so minor) makes me want to love on those who need a little extra help to love their smiles. Great post!
