The Happiest 5k on the Planet!

Blogging really has its perks. I find out about a lot of really awesome stuff via the blog world. Take The Color Run for example. I saw quite a few bloggers post about doing this 5k and after seeing their pictures I knew that I had to do it, too!

The Color Run is a 5k (3.1 miles), but it's not meant to be competitive. It's known as "the happiest 5k on the planet" and I can guarantee that you won't leave there unhappy. You're supposed to wear all white to the race, and every kilometer you enter a color zone and are blasted with a specific color. Then at the end of the race there is a big color party, where everyone throws up their packet of color during a massive dance party.

Oh my gosh. I can't even tell you how much fun it was! So I'll just show you instead :)

We all had SO much fun and I know Adam & I plan on doing more 5ks like this!

Real talk: if you have the opportunity to do The Color Run (or a similar race)...
DO IT! You won't be sorry, promise!

P.S. Photo creds go to Adam (well most of them anyway)!

  6. I did Color Me Rad {the knock off version of The Color Run} back in July and it was sooo much fun. I wanted to do The Color Run also, but I was mid-half marathon training, so I opted not to.

  13. Heather - I kept my phone in a Ziploc bag and it was totally fine! Adam kept his phone out the entire time to take pictures - he kept it in his pocket during the "color zones" and we had no problems :)
