It's been a good little while since I've linked up with Lauren for High Five for Friday, but today I'm back!
Here are 5 of my favorite things from this week:
one. On 12.12.12 Adam sent me on a scavenger hunt :) It was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me! I'll be posting about it more in depth next week...and NO I'm not engaged, haha!
two. Oh the conversations between my brother & I...he knows what his sister likes ;)
three. I picked up my Color Run "swag bag" on Thursday. I'm SO stoked for the run on Saturday! Go team #ColorRevolt! If you've done it and have tips on how I can take pictures without destroying my phone, please share!
four. Look at my baby top knot! I don't think you know how big of a deal this is for me! I've been growing my hair out for a year, so to be able to put it all up in some sort of bun is progress (even if I do have to use a ton of hairspray & bobby pins). Oh, and if you follow me on Instagram, you know how obsessed I am with my leopard print flats!
five. Adam & I are going to a Christmas party tonight for the company that I'm interning for. I think it's gonna be super fun and I'm excited for Adam to meet the people that I'm working with.
Happy weekend, y'all!
Hahaha love the text message!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a blast at the Color Run! I ran it in July and loved it. Most people I've talked to put their phones in Ziploc bags.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous time at the Christmas party tonight!
I'm excited to hear about your Color Run (and possibly see pictures on the blog?)! Of course, I can't wait to hear about the scavenger hunt too.
ReplyDeleteHave fun at the party tonight! Love you, dear!
Aw...I can't wait to hear more about this scavenger hunt. It looks amazing and so thoughtful. Happy Friday girl!
ReplyDeleteYour topknot is about as big as mine is! And I LOVE your flats too.
ReplyDeleteUm, how cute is Adam?! Best boyfriend ever...can't wait to hear more about the scavenger hunt :) Love the baby top knot, and have fun at the party!

When my hubby and I were dating, he did a scavenger hunt for me too! I can't wait to see what yours entailed! Mine included notes taped to our town's ATM machine and ended in the wine aisle at the local grocery store. He knew me so well.
ReplyDeleteAnd have fun at your Christmas party! Let us know what you wore! Mine is next week and it's a tough thing to dress for :o)
The color run was amazing. I recommend holding your breath/covering your nose & mouth when you go through the color. The powder isn't harmful but it sucks to choke on!
ReplyDeleteMy little point and shoot was fine and honestly didn't get colorful, but I saw some in press & seal so you can protect what you want!
Guess who's making her appearance back into blog land today....that would be me. My mom has been hounding me about blogging again and now that I'm sick and stuck in bed all day, I figured why not today? :) I've got lots of catching up to do...I've missed our blog friendship. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteThe Color Run was probably the highlight of my semester! So much fun I can't even handle it. And I'm not a runner (or fan of exercise for that matter) but when there's a color explosion and reasons for lots of pictures and videos, I'm a happy camper.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I seriously love the text message. Is it sad that my coworkers think the same thing of me?
ReplyDeleteI definitely love three of those things too! Top knots and leopard print flats are the bees knees! And if I guy ever made a scavenger hunt for me it would be a selling point ;) So sweet!
ReplyDeleteYou're freakin' adorable. I love the top knot!!
