Return of Smell the Roses

I have a confession.
Well it's probably already a known fact. But I'm gonna tell you guys anyway.

I have really missed doing my Smell the Roses posts! And I've received quite a few emails from you guys telling me that you miss them, too.

So today...Smell the Roses returns :)
If you're new around here, allow me to get you up to speed.

Every Monday I include a "task" for myself (and whoever else wants to participate) in my post.
The purpose of these tasks is for us to...stop and smell the roses! The tasks are things that don't take a lot of time or effort, but will give us enough time to slow down and appreciate the lovely little things (sorry, I had to do it) and people in our lives.

Some of my favorite past tasks have been:

This week's task:
Take a leap of faith, and do something that you've been afraid to do.

We all have dreams & ambitions (big or small) that we are too scared to pursue. Sometimes we let fear steer the direction that we take. Well this week I think we should let go of fear and take hold of those dreams :)

  6. this came just in the nick of time, since I've been procrastinating on doing something that I absolutely dream about but always fear I won't be successful. Whoever said God doesn't speak in many ways, I'd have to disagree! Thanks for posting this.
