Ingredients:
- 1 cup of almond milk (I use unsweetened vanilla)
- 5 frozen strawberries
- 1/2 of a frozen banana
- 1/2 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- Scoop or packet of protein (I use Perfect Fit Protein)
How to Make It:
Put all ingredients in blender (I use a Ninja) and mix together. Enjoy your shake while refueling your body! Note: if you're using fruit that isn't frozen, I would suggest adding in a few ice cubes so that your shake is chilled after everything is blended together.
Super easy to make and super delicious! Plus amazing for your body. Sometimes I make this for breakfast but add 2 handfuls of spinach...sounds disgusting but I promise it's not.
What's your favorite way to refuel & rehydrate post-workout?
This sounds delicious! I think I'll have to try it!
ReplyDeleteYum! I'm going to have to try this. I love anything Strawberry!
ReplyDeleteYummmmm!
ReplyDeleteI drink your peanut-butter banana smoothie every morning as soon as I wake up, to make sure I've got enough protein in me for my workout. About 15 minutes after I'm done working out I get HUNGRY. I've been doing a lot of chicken and quinoa, but lately I've been on a shrimp taco kick. So good!
ReplyDeleteSounds so good! I'm all about strawberry shakes!
ReplyDeleteQuestion: is the ninja as awesome as everyone says it is? I might be in the market for a new blender soon.
yum - this looks so delish. i have a little smoothie food processor and i need to get back into making smoothies again. so tasty and healthy!
