How To Have a Valentine's Day That Isn't Lame

I'm just gonna throw this out there. I'm not a HUGE fan of Valentine's Day. I think that all of the traditional things that people do are lame & boring. Sue me. Good thing Adam feels the same way (but I guess most guys do). We do celebrate it, but we like doing things our own way rather than taking the whole chocolate, flowers, dinner route.

Needless to say, I was pretty stoked to find out about Datevitation!

I've always wanted to make Adam a little love coupon book, but every time that I've tried, it turns out looking like a 5 year old had a mishap with scissors & glue. Not a pretty sight, I tell you.

That's where Datevitation comes in! Datevitation allows you to create a custom love coupon book. Unlike the pre-packaged love coupon books on the market, you pick the dates and can customize the text to your liking. Once you are done customizing the text in your book, Datevitation will print it out and ship it to you in a ready-to-gift-box. See...

The best part is that there is a date library with over 200 date ideas to choose from! The hardest part for me was choosing the dates, because the list is endless and all of the dates seem like SO much fun. I also had fun adding in some of me & Adam's inside jokes as the captions of the date illustrations. He got a kick out of that. Adam really loved getting this book (yes, I gave it to him before Valentine's Day, because I am a sucker)...we've always liked gifts with thought & creativity intertwined in them rather than expensive, extravagant gifts. So this was perfect!

Okay, I know you're probably DYING to hear which 5 dates I chose for his book, aren't you? Drum roll please...

1. Paint Balling
2. Camping
3. Shooting Range
4. Mixology Class
and his favorite:
5. Guess I'm a little obsessed with social media...

Datevitation wants to offer one of you lucky people a chance to win your own custom date coupon book! Use the Rafflecopter widget below to enter. I'll announce the winner next Monday!

Oh, and because they're so awesome, they're also offering all of you $10 off of your order. All you have to do is use the promo code 'LITTLETHINGS' ...just in time for Valentine's Day y'all! So see, everyone wins!

    Happy Birthday MONTH!! xoxo, Bev

  6. That looks like such a cute idea. And I'm a sucker for pretty packaging. BTW, I was definitely distracted by the vase of sunflowers full of coffee beans. Distracted in a good way!

  8. I love the "New Restaurant" date idea. My bf & I tend to get stuck in rut and always go to our favorite places instead of trying something new!
