Disposable Diaries

Y'all remember the days of disposable cameras, right? I used to bring them to middle school and snap pictures in every period, between periods, at lunch, at school dances...anywhere & everywhere. And then I would beg my parents to take me to Walgreens to get the film developed. Waiting that hour to get those pictures in my little hands was pure agony. I always made sure to get double prints so I could share & trade with my friends. It was glorious.

Well my blog BFF, Meg, came up with a genius idea for a link up. Enter: Disposable Diaries.
I've been carrying a disposable camera around with me all week, capturing little moments here and there. I'm excited to share my favorites with you guys!

Here grab the button and link up the pictures that you took with your handy disposable camera this past week! (designed by the rockstar diva designer...aka Aubrey)

Before I share my pictures, I have to tell y'all a few things.

1. I kept leaving my disposable camera EVERYWHERE. I'm not used to carrying one around anymore, obviously.
2. I got an absurd amount of looks from people when I would snap a picture with it. Haters gonna hate...I'm just tryin to get my blog on, okaaaay?
3. The first place that I brought my camera to get the film developed "no longer offered that service." UM WHAT? Not gonna lie, that made me feel pretty freaking old.
4. I was so incredibly anxious to see how my pictures turned out. Like show up 20 minutes early to pick up my pictures anxious.

Please note: I decided not to edit any of these pictures. These are au natural, baby! Absorb the grainy quality.

Only the cutest picture on the planet. Adam & his puppy, Buck :)

Me hoarding all of the sangria during girls' night out. The norm.

Got my cardio in by chasing this little nugget around for over an hour. Way better than the elliptical...forreals.

I left my camera in Kellie's car one night by accident (told you I kept forgetting it). Well she thought it would be funny to snap this picture. I, in turn, thought it would be funny to post this picture. LOVE HER THOUGH :)

This was a surprise shot, taken the morning after birthday shenanigans. I'll go ahead an leave it at that.

A few of my besties just carrying me around Acropolis.

Adam cooked me dinner this week while I was studying (my personal trainer certification exam is March 28)...he's a gem, I swear.

A little look into Sunshine Therapy Day. I'm already ready for another one of those...praise the Lord for Florida winters.

And last, but not least, me getting busted sipping two sangrias at the same time. I'm pretty stingy when wine is involved.

Dang, well that got me feeling a little nostalgic.
Did you take any pictures with a disposable camera this week?!
Meg & I want to see! Link up below so we can all go look at each other's great quality pictures...:)

  2. So I didn't do this, BUT, your pictures remind me of like elementary and middle school pictures. Just with the quality and what not. Oh man. Disposable cameras are the best.

  6. Such a cute idea! There's technically an app for iphones that has a similar idea, where you can't see what the pictures are like until you've taken a full roll!

  9. Oh, my gosh! I love it! And you're totally right. I would get doubles, too, so friends could have them, and we would cover our binders with photos. Oh, the memories!
