Meow

I'm gonna be honest - I used to loathe the cheetah trend. When I thought cheetah, I thought stripper. I cannot tell you why, that's just how my mind worked.

But the more I've seen the cheetah trend grow, I've noticed that if it's done tactfully (and in small doses) that it's actually a fun pop of character to add to an outfit.

So this week I am inspired by:

Cheetah Print!

1 // 2 // 3

Thanks to Meg, I bought a pair of cheetah print flats from Target on Friday.
People. I have worn those bad boys every single day since!
They instantly make my outfit more fun, and I feel like they really compliment my sassy personality in a non-obnoxious way ;)

How do you feel about the cheetah craze that's been going on?

  4. I'm the exact same say. A small item in the animal print is best... Accessories and shoes mostly.

  8. I've always equated leopard print with strippers too, but like you, I've come around. I'm DYING for a pair of leopard-print loafers.

However, snake/crocodile skin (even when faux) freaks me out and immediately makes me think of Crocodile Dundee. And therefore I think of high-legged one piece swimsuits, big bangs, and magenta eyeshadow. Mmm, 80s.

  15. You are exactly right, cheetah is good in small amounts. Totally fun. Too much cheetah = stripper.
