Smell the Roses!

This weekend was filled with:

-hardly any computer time

-not working out on Sunday

-not touching any homework

And let me just tell you...it was glorious! I so needed a break from that stuff.

Now I'm refreshed and ready to get back to it all :)

And I still have a week to recoup from school...hello Spring Break!

Last week's task was to thank 3 people that consistently impact your life in a positive way.

I absolutely loved doing this, because I want the people that I love to know that they aren't taken for granted.

My grandma aka "Toy"

I sent her a letter via snail mail letting her know how much I love her and how much she has impacted my life. I wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't for her.

two.

My best friend Brittany

I sent Britt a text last week letting her know just how awesome she is. We text regularly, but it's usually about school & work. I wanted to send her a random text just loving on her - so I did just that!

three.

My boyfriend Adam

I made Adam a little video of appreciation :)

This week's task:Try a new recipe.
I realize that this is probably a normal thing for some of you, but I typically live off of smoothies and chicken. Not a whole lot going on in my kitchen! I'm so thankful that I am blessed enough to always have food in my stomach, so this week I think it will be fun if we all step out of our norm bubble and try to cook something we never have before! Then we can meet back here next Monday and share the recipes we tried :).
I have some exciting news! Starting May, Lovely Little Things is going to offer super affordable ad space! I'm so, so excited about this, mainly because part of the proceeds from ads will go toward a service project. You can read all about it here!
