S.E.W. (Successfully Empowering Women) was created to help brighten the future of women by successfully climbing Africa’s highest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro. This climb will benefit the women and children of the O’Brien School for the Maasai. The school is a registered, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is also recognized by the Tanzanian government.

 I am excited to be part of this climb team and raise money for these women and children. The money raised will help these women learn a craft and perfect their current crafts to give them an independence and help them provide for their own families. Money will also be used to help keep the school running! S.E.W. would like these women to see that fighting for what you want can help break the cycle of poverty for themselves and their family. We know our climb won't fix everything for these Women, but we hope to bring awareness, and some hope to the empowerment of these women!

 

Ways you can Support my Climb

There are a number of ways you can support these Women and the O'Brien School for the Maasai.

1. Visit my fundraising page and make a donation. $5.00, $10.00 $100 it doesn't matter! Any amount will help! 100% of donations made on this page will go to the O'Brien School for the Maasai. Visit my page Here 

2. Purchase a S.E.W. T-shirt!

 

These are available until March 18th. They also come in a fitted V-Neck for women! 

Make your purchase by going to this site after you place your order go here and let them know you've purchased the T-Shirt in support of my climb. 

3. Provide an item to raffle off at an event

I am in the stages of planning a fundraising event and would LOVE any items to raffle off! If you are creative and want to make something, or just want to purchase something to donate I would greatly appreciate it! :) 

If you choose to help out in anyway I would greatly appreciate it. I will also be creating a Thank you banner to hold on top of Mount Kilimanjaro with your name/company name/blog name!  If you would like to donate an item leave me a comment below with your contact info and I'll email you! :)
